Terms & Conditions

Rabbits must be vaccinated against myxomatosis and RHD/VHD. Evidence of vaccinations will need to be shown before your rabbit/rabbits can check-in. 

Rabbits now need to be vaccinated against the new strain of VHD/RHD2, this requires a separate vaccine minimum two weeks apart from the original combined vaccine. (If you are unsure of the vaccination process please contact your vet for advise).

With regards to all pets pre-existing medical conditions must be provided/disclosed upon booking. If your pet does have a medical condition, details of the condition and medication required must be provided on initial booking request and booking form.

All hutches, cages and  facilities are cleaned and disinfected between pets.

With relation to the unlikely situation your pet should become unwell in our care we will transport your pet to your named vet on the Booking Form. If we are unable to make  contact (As out of hours or emergency) we will use our named registered vets but  all costs will be charged to the owner. A fee of £10.00 to take to Your Pride & Joy Home or Away vetinerary will be added. Depending on the location of your named vetinerary an additional fee on the £10.00 may apply. 

Regrettably and sadly small animals can succumb to illness or an unforeseen condition and unfortunately pass away very unexpectedly. If this does happen in our care, we will contact you immediately to discuss your wishes/requirements. Your Pride & Joy Home or Away  unfortunately accept no liability in the event of your pets passing away while in our care.

Cancellation:

If you collect your pet earlier than the departure date stated on your booking confirmation, you are still liable for the full amount of your pets stay.

For cancellation with more than 7 day’s notice, no cancellation fee will apply.

For cancellation with 6 day’s notice or less, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

Small animal boarding does not require a licence or have the same rules and regulations as  boarding like dogs or cats. All animals are left at Your Pride & Joy Home or Away at the owners risk.

In confirming a booking with Your Pride & Joy, you agree that you have read and accept our terms and conditions as stated above  and on the booking Form which will need to be signed and dated before check-in of your pet/pets.
